This policy covers the DIDAN TV website and the website content displayed inside the DIDAN TV app. The service contact is DIDAN TV at [email protected]. You can also send a private privacy enquiry.

Watching and device preferences

You do not need a viewer account. Favorites, recently viewed channel IDs, appearance, reduced motion and optional last-channel resume are stored in this browser or WebView. They are not a cloud account or a list shared between devices. Your privacy choices are stored in a first-party cookie for up to one year.

Opening this website, its APIs or a stream sends network information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, browser or WebView information and requested URL. Hosting and stream providers may process these requests and keep their own access or security logs.

Optional measurements

Playback measurement and Google Analytics are off until you turn them on in Privacy & data controls. Watching does not require enabling either option. You can turn them off again.

If you enable playback measurement, DIDAN TV sends a random browser identifier, temporary tab identifier, channel ID, playback state, video or audio mode, broad device type, background state, startup delay and playback progress to its own server. These reports help estimate current viewers and improve playback. The identifier is stored in an HTTP-only first-party cookie for up to 30 days. It identifies a browser, not a verified person.

Active presence expires from live counts shortly after reports stop, normally within 20 seconds, or up to 90 seconds for a background tab. Stale individual rows are pruned when their storage shard is next updated. Daily channel totals and quality measurements are kept for about 30 days and pruned with activity. They do not retain a per-viewer viewing history. You can immediately remove the individual rows linked to this browser using the data controls. Totals already combined across viewers cannot be separated back into your individual reports.

If you enable Google Analytics, page visits, interactions, browser/device information and identifiers may be sent to Google. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in this website build. Google's processing and retention are also subject to the service configuration and Google's privacy policy. Turning analytics off stops new analytics collection by this page and clears accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not delete information Google already received.

Broadcasters and other providers

When you choose a channel, its stream host receives the requests needed to play it, including your IP address and browser information. Embedded services such as YouTube or Twitch can process information under their own policies and may use cookies or show advertisements. This website's measurement switches do not control a broadcaster's systems. See the hosts used by each channel.

Football data is fetched through the DIDAN TV server from the selected football data service. The website does not need your precise location. Device time zone is used locally to display match times.

Support, security and retention

If you contact us, we store the message, message type, any channel or reference link, replies, and the email address you choose to provide. The form does not require your name, an attachment or an email address. Conversations are kept privately for up to 180 days after their latest activity and are removed during inbox maintenance or when an expired conversation is accessed. You can delete a conversation using its private link, or contact us about deletion.

A temporary HTTP-only session cookie protects support and data-control requests. Abuse prevention stores keyed hashes of network identifiers and short-lived request counters. Expired counters are removed when their bucket is next accessed. Administrator authentication, activity records and hosting backups have separate operational purposes and are not viewer accounts. Retention of hosting access logs and backups depends on the host configuration.

Requests use HTTPS on the public service. Private records are stored outside public responses with server-side access controls. Access is limited to authorised administrators and the hosting systems that operate the service. We do not sell support messages or playback reports.

Recordings and permissions

Where the browser recording feature is available, it processes playback on your device. Recordings are not uploaded to DIDAN TV by this feature. A downloaded recording remains on your device until you remove it. The website does not request your camera, microphone, contacts or precise location to watch television. A device's own screen-recording or sharing feature can show its own system permission prompt.

Your choices

Change measurements or clear data on this device. Contact us at [email protected] for access, correction or deletion enquiries. You may also contact your local data protection authority. Live television may include sensitive news, mature topics or advertising. Parents should supervise children's viewing.

This policy will be updated when the service's data handling changes. Any extra permissions or SDKs added to a future Android build must also be described in that build's disclosures.
